What to Watch For

• 1 How do teachers build the ELA writing choice board? Choose the 30-Day Write Challenge for your grade band, then arrange nine prompts in a 3-by-3 grid using the Unplugged Engagement Kit template.
• 2 How do students select their writing prompts and reading materials? Give students the choice board to circle a writing path, then have them pick up the matching printed articles from a shared folder.
