Lori brings more than 20 years of experience as a business-focused human capital executive with deep expertise leading and managing organizations through critical change and growth. As a strategic adviser to C-Suite executives, she was recognized for positioning People Operations as a valuable business partner, building collaborative relationships, recruiting and retaining “A” players, delivering exceptional client service, building employee engagement and creating high performing cultures.
Most recently, Lori was Managing Director at The HR Concierge, a consultancy she founded, where she provided interim CHRO leadership services to startup SaaS companies, asset management firms and top investment banks.
Before that, Lori was the head of executive search at Goldman Sachs & Co. where she led executive recruiting across the firm. Previously, she worked for Spencer Stuart where she conducted C-suite searches for Fortune 100 and venture capital firms primarily in the technology, e-commerce and specialty retail segments. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Lori was a strategy consultant working with high-growth companies.
She began her career in pediatrics and Lori’s interest and enthusiasm in working with youth continued as she was introduced to Future Possibilities, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that delivers life skills coaching to children, where she served as a KidCoach. She also partnered with the founder and CEO to build the Future Possibilities brand by developing a corporate alliance partnership program, a volunteer recruitment and retention strategy, redesigned life skills program curriculum and served as member of the strategic advisory council. Lori later served as the Director of Development and Assistant to the Head of School for The Waterside School, a Jr. K through Grade 5 independent school, providing rigorous academic and moral education regardless of income or circumstance.
Lori holds a bachelor of science in Human Resources from the University of Delaware and an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Wharton School. She is also a certified executive coach.
