Next Stimulus Deadline is September 30, 2024

You can apply for an extension. Here is what you need to know:

  • Districts can request extensions of ARP ESSER funds through their state education agency. States must seek permission from the Education Department. 

  • If approved, districts may extend the liquidation period of ARP ESSER funds up to 14 months beyond the current deadline of January 28, 2025. The new deadline would be  March 2026.

  • Multi-year contracts for software may be permissible, check with your state education agency.
